Write complex research reports such as Market Letter, Investment Memos, and DDQs with the help of our Agent generating the draft based on your input and source selection.

By securely inputting your login credentials, our Agent retrieves data from your sources on-demand (whenever you send a query to the Agent)—ensuring all the information you rely on is available in one place. Your data remains private and exclusive to you.


b. Language Setting

Terminal X User Guide

Click the Language Icon on the Landing Page or navigate to the Profile tab to set your preferred language. Once selected, every query result will include a translation button, allowing you to switch between languages. You are also able to ask questions in your preferred language. Please note, we only support Korean and Japanese for now.

c. Search

  1. Source Filter

Easily toggle between your data ("Private Data Room") you've integrated into the platform, and our data ("All Sources"). This allows for a truly exhaustive search across millions of public and private sources, including Broker Research, Public Company Filings, Call Transcripts, Bloomberg, and Real-time Websearch.

This allows you to refine your queries and access the most relevant information for your needs. The default is set to Terminal X sources.

  1. Time Filter

Select a specific time range for your search query with this filter. We’ll retrieve data that matches your chosen range. The default is set to Any Time, providing broader results.

  1. Upload Documents

Upload PDFs and enhance your search results. Once uploaded, simply ask a query, and our AI agent will retrieve and synthesize relevant information based on the additional context you've provided.

The Document Dashboard on the landing page offers a quick shortcut to all sources the Terminal X Agent retrieves real-time, including Broker Research, Public filings, Call Transcripts, Bloomberg, and Live Websearch. 

For our Enterprise clients, this dashboard also shows the latest private data you've accessed from your integrated Private Data Room. This allows you to stay updated on the market while keeping track of your ongoing investment research workflows.

Please note that what's shown here is sample data to showcase upcoming features for demo purposes. This will be available in the coming weeks.


f. Private Data Room

Terminal X User Guide

Search any of your firm-wide documents integrated on our Terminal X platform by document name. This page ensures all your internal proprietary data has been securely synced and audit the process.

2. Key New Features

In this section, we’ll highlight our My Watchlist and Custom Report Builder features and how to get the most out of this feature in your day to day workflow.

a.  My Watchlist

The first ticker in the list is selected by default, showcasing the Market Live Feed for that ticker upon entering this page.

  1. My List

In this left section, you are able to see the tickers you have requested to track. Currently we update this list manually upon request for our Enterprise Client.


Please note, the ability to add ticker, reorder, and delete tickers is currently in development. 

  1. Market Live Feed

The Market Live Feed gives you a quick snapshot of the US markets, price movements of key securities, potential drivers and any other market-moving events of the trading day. Updates are posted at these anchor times, at minimum, and more frequently when the market is volatile. 


  • Pre-Market: 6am ET & onwards

  • At Market Open

  • Mid-Day: ~12pm ET

  • At Market Close

  • After-Market hours until ~8pm ET

In this section, you are able to see an overview of how the market is doing by reading the summary of the S&P 500 price changes at key anchor times.


  1. Ticker Feed

Keep tabs on what caused the price changes for your specific tickers by clicking on any of your tickers in your watchlist.


Terminal X User Guide

The grey ticker chip at the top shows point-in-time price changes for the selected ticker, helping you track movements as you review what caused them. Clicking the chip takes you to the ticker lookup page, where the Agent provides a focused summary for that specific point in time.



b.  Custom Report Builder

Write complex research reports such as Market Letter, Investment Memos with the help of our Agent generating the draft based on your input and source selection.

Step 2: Upload Documents

Here’s how you can tailor your report even further:

  • Upload a Sample Report – Want your report to match your firm’s style? Simply upload a past market letter, and our agent will mirror its structure, length, and formatting—but with your new topic and data.

  • Add Your Own Sources – Have proprietary research or third-party reports? Upload them, and our agent will prioritize these insights while drafting your report.

  • Total Data Security – Every report is built in a highly controlled, auditable process. We never store your uploaded files or data, ensuring complete confidentiality. 

Step 3: Select Sources 

With Terminal X, you control the research that powers your reports:

  • By default, our AI agent pulls from trusted sources like Broker Research, Public Filings, Call Transcripts, Bloomberg, and Real-time Web data.

  • If you have integrated your firm-wide private data to Terminal X, you can select “Private Data Room” as the source you want to reference. In that case, our Agent will only reference information from your internal data to generate the contents in the report.

  • You can also choose to base your report solely on your own uploaded sources by clicking on the “ONLY base my report on these uploaded sources” checkbox.

Every report created in Terminal X includes in-line citations, so you can audit sources at a glance. No black box.

Step 4: Click Generate
  • Our AI Agent structures the letter, pulling relevant insights from trusted sources so you can quickly refine and finalize

  • The report usually takes up to 5 mins to generate. It will be autosaved in the “My Archive” page so feel free to come back to it. You can access this page by clicking on the button in the top right corner.

  • In the “My Archive” page, you are also able to see the status of the report generation.

ii. Investment Memo

This time you need to write a draft or a quick outline of an Investment Memo on your target company.

If you wish to write a report on Public Securities, click the “Public Securities” button under “Choose Investment Topic” to view the customized input field (marked with an asterisk “*”) and instructions for this report.


Similarly to the Market Letter example above, fill out the required input fields that will instruct our Agent to generate your customized report.
